Extensions for your Ames Portable Hardness Tester
You can use extensions with larger frame testers to test hardness on smaller parts using Ames Extensions. For example, you can use our Ames Model 4-4 tester to test parts that are smaller than 4″ wide by using the appropriate extension. This is also true for our Ames Model 4-4, Model 1-2 and model 2.
